Unemployed?!

Well, today was the last day of school. Tomorrow B will come move all my stuff out of my class. This is it. I am unemployed. This is very scary to me. For seven years I have taught fourth grade, and I'm really not sure how I feel about not working. I do know that I will most likely end up with something part time while I am in grad school, which starts Monday! My first two classes are Audiology and Anatomy and Physiology for the SLP major. Year one is online, so I would like to work part time this next year. I get very bored at home all day, and so what do I do? SHOP. Which is not a good thing when you have just slashed a salary out of your family's income. I do know that I will not miss the stress, pressure, and exhaustion of teaching a TAKS grade level in a low income, half non English speaking school. This year REALLY got to me!! I am ready for a break for sure, and excited to pursue a new career! We will see where this journey takes me. I might stay home full time and go to school, or I might find something low stress to do part time while in school, but for me, full time work is OVER!!
